A discussion styled ‘Health Awareness, Nutrition and Food’ was held at Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons auditorium on Wednesday, marking the National Health Service Week-2019.
Director General of Health Department Dr Abul Kalam Azad attended the discussion as the chief guest while Dr Md Mahiuddin Osmani of planning section of Health Ministry and Director General of National Nutrition Council Dr Md Shahnewaj attended as special guests.
Additional Director General of Health Department Dr Nasima Sultana was also present.
The discussion was presided over by Director of National Nutrition Council Dr Md Khalilur Rahman and helpline director of the organization Dr SM Mostafizur Rahman delivered the welcome speech.
ICDDRB senior director Dr Tahmid Ahmed delivered the key note on ‘Golden 1000 days of
a child’.
