The Way Dhaka, a boutique hotel at the city’s posh Gulshan diplomatic zone is hosting three separate food festivals for the food lovers experience unique food items in a glorious food adventure.
Of the three festivals – Delights of Blue is happening from 10th to 16th September, while the second one – Mediterranean Buffet will be held from 1st to 7th October and Texas B.B.Q Carnival from 4th to 16th November 2018.
The Way Dhaka is celebrating food for all different palates and tastes with their food adventure. The hotel is planning to ignite the spirit of fine dining with special menus for three festivals, crafted to delight guests and enthusiasts alike. The festivals are being hosted at their premium fine dining restaurant Top of The Way from 6om to 11pm.
“The Way Dhaka is taking on the colors of the events, putting on thematic decorations of the individual festivals. The guests can enjoy the beautiful ambiance while relishing delicious food presented by the Executive Chef of The Way Dhaka, Gregory Gomes,” said Sumedha Gunawardana, General Manager of The Way Dhaka at a Meet the Press on the hotel premises on Wednesday.
“Delights of Blue is offering a refined taste of top-notch seafood dishes, caught fresh and served beautifully. This incredible food fest will feature exotic cuisines such as Seafood Paella, Coconut Crab, Cinnamon Coco Prawn, and Seafood Pasta with Sicilian Sauce etc. Guests can also enjoy the flair of live cooking at the live grilling station. It’s happening from 10th to 16th September,” said Gregory Gomes.
Mediterranean Buffet is introducing flavors from across the Mediterranean Sea, to bring about unique tastes. Guests can expect an amazing treat with cuisines from a wide variety of cultural influences. This food festival is featuring exclusive European dishes such as Lamb Stew & Cuscus, Honey Glazed Roasted Chicken & Hummus, and Persian Pot-roasted Beef etc. There will be a live grilling stations present at the event for live tasting. It’s going on from 1st to 7th October, he added.
Texas B.B.Q Carnival is presenting delicious contemporary dishes, inspired from the heart of American barbecuing and grilling. The festival is featuring old school flavors with dishes such as Grilled & Pan-seared Steak, Charcoal Kebabs etc. It’ll be ongoing from 4th to 16th November.
Guests can enjoy exciting prizes in a raffle draw, like 1st Prize: Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka ‘’Air Ticket’’, 2nd Prize: One Night Stay for Couple at ‘’The Peninsula Chittagong’’ and 3rd Prize: One Night Stay for Couple at ‘’The Way Dhaka’’.
All the guests joining the festivals will be eligible to take part in the rafle draw. Winners of the raffle draw will be announcing on closing nights of Texas B.B.Q carnival on 16 November, 2018.
